Purpose, Vision, and Core Values

PURPOSE STATEMENT

To empower and equip people, churches and organizations to effectively minister to secular-postmoderns.

VISION STATEMENT

To raise awareness of ministries and ministers that are effectively reaching out to secular-postmoderns, as well as identifying resources to assist to this end. This will result in equipping people, churches and organizations to reach their fullest potential of living Jesus' command to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28). Additionally the global church will be strengthened as like-minded people join together in community.

CORE VALUES 

  • People - People are important to God and as a result should be important to us.
  • Relevance - Identifying what is meaningful and pertinent to secular and postmodern people in light of the Gospel. 
  • Effectiveness - Focusing our attention on where God is working and seeking to understand the "why" and "how".
  • Awareness - Drawing attention to SDA ministries world wide that are effective reaching secular-postmoderns with the intent of assisting others with tools necessary to minister effectively in their local context. 
  • Authenticity - Postmoderns place a lot of value into authenticity and honesty. We to value authenticity in our struggles, concerns and areas of confusion. 
  • SDA Theology - At the core of our existence and our identity is the theology and structure of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Excellence - In all that we do, we strive to represent God with a heightened level of excellence. 
  • Community - Jesus invites us to be a part of the body--growing and developing--accomplishing what He has called us to do.
